Charleston is the ideal place to catch up on life.
Whether you need to catch up on fun, or just
on relaxation, you'll find the perfect setting in
this unique coastal fishing village. And since
most everything here is centered around water and boats,
the hub of activity is the Charleston Marina Complex.
Charleston Marina is home
port to a busy commercial fishing fleet. More than 150 boats land their
fresh catches at processing plants in Coos Bay year-round. Processors then
supply restaurants and seafood markets throughout the west. During various
seasons of the year, the fleet lands Dungeness crab, halibut, shrimp, salmon,
tuna and a variety of ground and rockfish including sole, cod, flounder,
mackerel and snapper.
