The longest running sports event in the West is the San Francisco Sports & Boat Show coming up January 14~23 at the Cow Palace. It was founded 58 years ago during World War II in 1942. Watercraft ranging from $390 canoes to over $450,000 luxury yachts will be displayed, both power and sail. Nearly 1,000 new boats will fill seven ofthe eleven halls of the giant Cow Palace complex. Queen of this year's fleetis the beautiful 46 Hunter sailboat from Florida. |
