I have a 1994 Larson Cabrio 280 with Twin MerCruiser 4.3LX Engines. When I started her after winter storage, my port engine sputtered and stalled after 30 to 40 seconds. The starboard engine runs fine, but the port engine repeatedly stalls shortly after starting.
I added fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank. I replaced both (port and starboard engine) fuel filters/water separators.
I tried running the port engine from a portable gas tank containing fresh gasoline.
I replaced the fuel pump on the port engine.
None of these changes have made a difference.
Not sure it's related, but the temp gage on this engine is much higher than usual.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
