Message:

I have a older sailboat that has an aluminum rub rail that also acts as the connector of the top and bottom halves of the boat. Some of the blind rivets that were use have failed causing the top to separate from the bottom. I have been unable to find aluminum blind rivets in this size so I am looking into using stainless bolts and nuts. I know that problem with corrosion between aluminum and stainless but cannot find another solution. Will this be a big problem above the waterline in fresh water only? Thanks
