Sail track lubrication

I read somewhere that there is a special oil that can be applied to the length of the sail track on the mast, and boom. The lubrication allows the bolt rope or cars to slide more easily in the aluminum track. Has anyone heard of such an oil, and used it? What where the results? Any brand that comes to mind? JsPierre

Have you tried WD-40 or regular grease? I'm sure you can ask someone at a marine store.

I've read there is a simple device for lubricating sail tracks and a lubrication that works well. I'd like to hear about both the system and the lubricant.
